Sold Out!
The
Williamsport Crosscutters have announced that Hall-of-Fame Broadcaster
Harry Kalas has been added to the guest line-up of the 2nd
Annual Hot Stove Dinner & Auction with the Phillies to be held on
Thursday, January 17, at the Genetti Hotel in Williamsport. All proceeds
from the event will benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lycoming
County & Hope Enterprises. Other featured guests include Phillies RHP
Kyle Kendrick, catcher Chris Coste, Wide Receiver D.J. Flick of the CFL
Champion Saskatchewan Roughriders, former Phillie Eric Valent, Cutters
Manager Dusty Wathan & the Phillie Phanatic.

Cutters Vice-President of Marketing, Gabe Sinicropi stated,
“One of the highlights of last year’s event was Harry Kalas recreating a
call of a Dick Allen home run along with the great stories he shared with
the crowd. I can’t wait to hear him talk about the excitement of the ’07
pennant race and his thoughts on the 2008 ballclub. Fans will again have
a great opportunity to see and hear a living legend.”
Last
year’s event was a sell-out and received rave reviews from attendees. Due
to demand, seating capacity has been expanded with another full-house
expected. With the popularity of this event, we highly encourage fans to
reserve their tickets as soon as they can.”
The evening, presented in part by Professional
Petroleum, Susquehanna Bank, KISS-FM, WRAK and the Williamsport
Sun-Gazette, will consist of dinner, an entertainment portion,
featuring interviews and question and answer segments with many of the
special guests, plus a live and silent auction of Phillies & other sports
memorabilia by T&S Auction Company. The doors will open at 5:30pm for
cocktails and the start of the silent auction. The dinner and
entertainment portion of the event will begin at 6:30pm. Free autographs
will be available for attendees at the close of event.
