2nd Annual Hot Stove Dinner Slated For January 17th

Go to fullsize imageThe Williamsport Crosscutters have announced that Hall-of-Fame Broadcaster Harry Kalas has been added to the guest line-up of the 2nd Annual Hot Stove Dinner & Auction with the Phillies to be held on Thursday, January 17, at the Genetti Hotel in Williamsport.  All proceeds from the event will benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lycoming County & Hope Enterprises.  Other featured guests include Phillies RHP Kyle Kendrick, catcher Chris Coste, Wide Receiver D.J. Flick of the CFL Champion Saskatchewan Roughriders, former Phillie Eric Valent, Cutters Manager Dusty Wathan & the Phillie Phanatic Phillies catcher Chris Coste

Cutters Vice-President of Marketing, Gabe Sinicropi stated, “One of the highlights of last year’s event was Harry Kalas recreating a call of a Dick Allen home run along with the great stories he shared with the crowd.  I can’t wait to hear him talk about the excitement of the ’07 pennant race and his thoughts on the 2008 ballclub.  Fans will again have a great opportunity to see and hear a living legend.”

 The evening, presented in part by Professional Petroleum, Susquehanna Bank, KISS-FM, WRAK and the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, will consist of dinner, an entertainment portion, featuring interviews and question and answer segments with many of the special guests, plus a live and silent auction of Phillies & other sports memorabilia by T&S Auction Company.  The doors will open at 5:30pm for cocktails and the start of the silent auction.  The dinner and entertainment portion of the event will begin at 6:30pm.  Free autographs will be available for attendees at the close of event.
