Area Youth Win Honors in Aquafina - Major League Baseball Pitch Hit & Run Competition
Area children participated in the recent PITCH, HIT & RUN competition hosted by the Williamsport Crosscutters, the River Valley Regional YMCA and the Williamsport Rec Department on April 19 at Historic Bowman Field.

The following participants won first place in their respective age groups.  They are;
Ages 7 & 8
Overall Champion - Aiden Gair of Williamsport
Pitching Champion - Aiden Gair of Williamsport
Hitting Champion - Eric Weber-Waldron of S. Williamsport
Running Champion - Dylan Bailey of Williamsport

Ages 9 & 10

Overall Champion - Justin Geary of Williamsport

Pitching Champion - Isaac Hagen of S. Williamsport

Hitting Champion - Justin Geary of Williamsport

Running Champion - Justin Geary of Williamsport

 

Ages 11 & 12

Overall Champion - Bradley Walter of Williamsport

Pitching Champion - Nick Mistretta of S. Williamsport

Hitting Champion - Cody Nelson of S. Williamsport

Running Champion - Nick Mistretta of S. Williamsport

 

Ages 13 & 14

Overall Champion - Brandon Hornberger of S. Williamsport

The winners will now compete in the Sectional competition, to be held in Harrisburg in mid-May.

 

PITCH, HIT & RUN is a national baseball skills competition that allows youngsters to showcase their talents in pitching, hitting and running with scores determined by individual performances in each skills event.
