January 18 - With an all-star lineup of guests and a sold out crowd, the Crosscutters 2nd Annual Hot Stove League Dinner and Auction held January 17th at the Genetti Hotel was a great success while raising over $8,500 for charity.

Philadelphia Phillies players Chris Coste & Kyle Kendrick, legendary broadcaster Harry Kalas, and many others entertained attendees with stories and answered questions. Some highlights included Keynote Speaker Harry Kalas recounting the Phillies drive to the NL East Title in '07 and spinning tales about his time with Richie Ashburn in the broadcast booth.

The night, co-sponsored by Professional Petroleum, Susquehanna Bank, the Williamsport Sun-Gazette and Clear Channel Williamsport,  was also highlighted by live and silent auctions that featured items such as; a Chase Utley autographed baseball, a jersey signed by Phillies 1st round draft choice Joe Savery and photo banners autographed by the featured guests.

Proceeds from the event were donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lycoming County and Hope Enterprises.  The night's festivities culminated with a check presentation for over $4,250 to each charity.

At the event, the Crosscutters also unveiled the "next era of Crosscutters baseball" with a new logo, cap and uniform design.
