Cutters in Run-Off to Advance to Sweet 16 in CNBC Logo Tourney
Voting on Monday from 9am-5pm
March 23 -
It took overtime for Western Kentucky to beat Drake and San Diego to beat
UConn. And now, four
teams, including the Williamsport Crosscutters,
in CNBC.com's Minor League Baseball Logo Contest will need overtime in
order to get into the "Sweet 16."

Despite more than 17,000 votes in two contests in the second round, the
matchup between the #4 seed Williamsport Crosscutters and #12 seed
Quad Cities River Bandits and the #2 seed
Clinton Lumberkings and the #7 seed Toledo Mudhens,
were knotted at a 50-50 tie when the clock struck 9 a.m. ET
this past Saturday morning.
Since the winner has to be ready for the Sweet 16 matchupsTuesday,
the runoff will start on Monday morning
(March 24) at 9 a.m. and conclude at the end of the business day on
Monday at 5 p.m. ET. If the votes are still knotted up at 50-50 at that
time, the tally will be taken at 15 minute intervals (5:15 p.m.ET, 5:30
p.m. ET, etc.) until a team has an advantage. That team will be declared
the winner.
The Crosscutters were involved in the contest's only other runoff. After
tying them in Round 1, they beat the Charleston RiverDogs in a run-off
last Wednesday. Fans can vote at
